Approved witnesses
Your Queensland paper statutory declaration must be signed in the physical presence of one of the following:
- Justice of the Peace (JP)
- Commissioner for Declarations (C.dec)
- Notary public
- Lawyer
- Conveyancer
- Another person authorised to administer an oath under the law of Queensland, the Commonwealth or another State
- A person prescribed by regulation (currently senior police officers)
Electronic or video-link witnessing is not accepted by the Brisbane Sikh Temple (Gurdwara) Inc.
Important: your application will not be valid unless the completed and properly witnessed statutory declaration is uploaded with your submission.
